The school in question is called Telefonplan and is one of 30 schools run by the organisation Vittra.
The school principal Jannie Jeppesen says that the school design '[stimulates] the children's curiosity and creativity". I suggest going to the website and having a look around starting at the message from the principal.
The school believes that by not having classrooms and by grouping children according to what level they are at that the children will be taught the skills they need to live in the world. The students will be motivated, will ask questions, have creativity and innovation, they will be able to communicate in a variety of ways and will have a strong set of values and stong self belief.
The one thing that I am not entirely clear on is the role of the teacher in this system and I would really like to learn more becuase this does seem like it may be the classroom of the future.
The pictures were taken from the article mentioned above and the school's website which I really do reccomend having a look around.
